To explore the art of surfing and the ocean, and the connection to something bigger than us. An invitation to take a step back from your daily life, to give yourself a break and needed nourishment for your body and soul. To remember who you truly are, and that you are worthy of treating yourself like a goddess. Â
The Experience
Come and join us on this adventurous week where we will explore the magic of a spiritual surf retreat. Together we will go on a journey through surfing, workshops, ceremony, daily movement, and beautiful meals together. Our intention is for you to remember to celebrate life, your passions and your purpose. Surfing is an experience that mirrors life on so many levels. How we take up space, our inner courage, our self talk, the way we jump into life. We have transformational experiences such as sound baths, breath work or energy healing. We practice wellness on all levels with sauna and cold bath, beach spa, massages and basking in Portuguese nature.
We have created our retreats so that you can strengthen the most important relationship in your life – namely the one you have with yourself. You will also leave with new friendships and a beautiful community, which for us is a huge part of love and growth.Â
The Location
Our retreat will take place in Ericeira, one of our “heart-homes”. This picturesque fishing and surfing village is surrounded by incredible nature, raw cliffs overlooking the ocean, and a warm climate during summer and fall. Ericeira is a place that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who visits.

The retreat offers an opportunity to disconnect from daily stress and immerse in the beauty and tranquillity of nature. It's a place that allows you to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the simpler things in life.

Ericeira offers something for everyone. And who knows, it might just capture your heart the way it captured ours. There will be time in your schedule to explore Ericeira, but if you would like to spend more than a few hours here and there, we highly recommend that you plan to hang around either before or after the retreat.
The Menu
The dining experience was highlighted as one of our guests top experiences in 2024! We had @almas_open_table cooking the most incredible plant based menu we have ever seen. You can look forward to breakfast, lunch, and dinner prepared by a local in-house chef at the guesthouse. The chef will focus on creating a nourishing, plant-centered menu using organic ingredients where possible. We will also explore a range of amazing products from brands like Anima Mundi, available at the Radical Broccoli shop, that we will offer in smoothies, for lattes, and for you to try out during and in between meals.

As we ride the waves, we are fully present in the moment, attuned to the rhythm of the ocean. The powerful, unpredictable nature of the sea offers a humbling reminder of the vastness of the world, making each wave a unique challenge. This connection to the water can evoke a sense of inner peace and mindfulness, allowing us to transcend everyday concerns. For many, surfing becomes a spiritual practice—a way of aligning the mind, body, and soul with the natural flow of life. Each room is unique, designed to capture the tranquility of the surrounding ocean valley. Waking up to the cheerful chirping of birds and calming sounds of waves breaking on the sand is routine here. When you join the retreat, you can choose from a variety of rooms. These range from spacious suites to cozy shared rooms, all tailored to meet your preferences.
